Biomass is a renewable resource that constitutes 10-12% of worldwide produced energy. The market is therefore more and more careful to propose new technologies that are able to use all the resources from forest residues, agricultural crops, agricultural food waste, cleaning of banks, rivers and floods. With the use of forestry equipment, proposed by us, you can recover even 30% of woody biomass, not exploitable as wood for building and resulting from branches, small trees and stumps.

LOG SPLITTER W SERIES

Westtech presents a wide range of log splitter made up of five models to suit any requirement: in agricultural and Forestry used, with clamping force from 26 to 50 Tons of Power, equipped with an attachment for mounting easy and fast to each type of operating machine. Log Splitter can be applied: ad to a farm tractor, to a forestry tractor and an arm of an excavator. With the log splitter Woodcracker W you can drag and a split / cut quickly without problems any kind of wood with one machine. The W series, the first project of the Austrian company, is characterized by extreme versatility, precision, safety and reliability. The Westtech log splitter W series transform the working machine into a complete system for the production of raw material in large amount and a minimum costs.

LOG SPLITTER L SERIES

Westtech presents a new range of log splitter, made up of four models based on any kind of need: in agricultural and forestry sector with attack to be applied to cranes and timber trailers. Log splitter L series: practice in the transport, it s able to split large logs. Split wood presents indeed the best values in terms of conservation and utilization for energy purposes, because it dries much more easily than whole logs.

SHEAR FELLER C SERIES WITH BLADE

The shear feller Woodcracker C series reach the right compromise between lightness, strength and cost. The main advantages of the shears feller Westtech Woodcracker C series are: the ability to treat the stumps characterized by suckers close to each other; the lower hydraulic demand respect to feller disc; low weight and reduced cost; the equipment of collection clamp (as optional) that performs the function of accumulation and facilitates the operator to intercept the trunks or suckering that must be cut, speeding up the execution of a single cycle [placement, removal and subsequent deposition on the floor of the cut plants]. Since 2017 the shears are also available in version with the chainsaw, who replaced the standard blade.

ROOT EXTIRPATOR CLAMP R SERIES

Woodcracker R series are available in 2 type of model. Woodcracker R cuts stump and roots; in addition the hole created from the extraction of tree roots isn’t big and it can be closed by the clamp itself, in respect of the land.

ROOT STOCK

With Woodcracker S400 you can cut and remove the roots below the soil surface. This is important especially on light soils, which can become unstable with the complete removal of the root. The soil is kept stable and the root that remains in the subsoil is transformed into fertile soil in a natural way, as a result of the decomposition process. The natural cycle is maintained in its entirety. Thanks to its ingenious design, the S400 requires little maintenance and has a very limited usury.

COLLECTING CLAMPS G SERIES

The new Woodcracker G is used for the maintenance of forests and landscape as well as for the clearing of small roots. The remaining material is collected from the ground. The clamp assembly allows the simultaneous loading of material for further processing (transport, power shredder) and for manipulation. The special feature of this machine is its field of application and individual variable. Thanks to the modular design, the width of the rake can be adjusted to fit the surface of the ground and can be installed the additional unit according to the requirements.
